Associate Attorney (Litigation)
Baker Jenner LLLP is a growing boutique practice looking for a Georgia-barred associate attorney with between 2 and 5-years’ experience for its civil litigation practice, including in the areas of tort defense, business, and commercial litigation. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to work with and support experienced senior attorneys who represent significant clients both regionally and nationally.
The ideal candidate should enjoy being a trusted part of the team, responsible for assisting in critical aspects of client representation, from pre-suit through trial. Effective project management and communication skills are expected, as is proficiency with office technology. Qualified candidates should have solid academic credentials and demonstrate well-developed verbal and interpersonal skills. Additional Requirements:
- Preparation of persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Promulgation and performance of written discovery
- Managing case files and deadlines in coordination with team members
- Document production review and management
- Timely and appropriately reporting on projects and assignments
Desired experience includes: Depositions, Prelitigation investigation, Hearings, Trial support, and Law review, specialty journal or moot court experience.
